The tragedy of 9/11 gave us some incredible answers. Here is one example that will give you chills. My brother in law was to be at a breakfast meeting at Windows on the World that day. He sent his assistant instead. One month later a cell phone bill comes across his desk. He has to approve all expenditures for his department of 200 employees. He has no idea whose cell phone number this is assigned to. The bill lists numbers to Central and South America for over $600. He suspects fraud and that the cell phone was stolen. He starts to call these numbers to find out who is making these calls. His assistant, realizing they were doomed, gave his cell phone to the restaurant staff to call loved ones and say good-bye. When my brother in law talked to these family members, they told him what his assistant had done. My brother in law has never been the same since.
