Do Mormons believe they can become gods or goddesses? How do they believe this happens?

    No we don't, we believe that there is on;y one Heavenly Father. (God)

    • I thought that you believe that God the father, God the son, and god the holy spirit are all three different beings?

    • The Trinity/Godhead thing and whether that constitutes one God or three Gods is a whole different can of worms, best dealt with separately from this question.

    • YES WE DO. And we do believe them to be separate beings. There is God the father, his son - Jesus Christ. We believe each to have a tangible body of flesh and bones. And the Holy Spirit who does not have a tangible body.
