Help answer this question below.

My friend that knows more than anything about me than anyone else broke a promise a few weeks back, and now I can't trust anyone. Is there anyway I can gain this trust back, with him and others?

What promise did he break? Not all promises are realistic to keep. Ask yourself if you're being realistic. Also, I really doubt you've kept all of your promises. Ask yourself if you have and if you haven't, ask yourself why it's okay for you to not keep them and not okay for him break them.
