because he works in the fashion and style industry and people have twisted stereotypes about gay men and women. gay men have to be feminine and gay women obviously all wear mens clothes. its total bullshit. and if he is gay, no one should judge him for it because the people judging him are more likely than not redneck homophobes that are a million times less successful than him. (look at me! im stereotyping... ugh)

It's not a "twisted stereotype". 98% of all men in the fashion and design industry will admit to being gay. If you weren't so awash in your PC mania you would be able to trust your own god given or natural instincts and intelligence that you posses. You posses these because it matters.
Does it not occur to you that people may want to be immediately recognized as gay?
That maybe there are gay men who don't want to people to assume they are straight and thus constantly attract the attention of straight women?
You know, much like straight women don't want to be ignored by men and only attract the attention of lesbian women.
What the hell are these gay guys supposed to do so you women aren't falling all over them all of the time???
Just give these gay guys their "stereotype" (whatever that is) and let them live in peace.
People ask if someone's gay or not because sexuality does indeed matter.
It matters very much.
You prove that fact every single time you get dressed to meet a man you're sexually attracted to.
Deal with it.
