Question

Help answer this question below.

While attempting to remove a seed from an avocado I palmed in my left hand, with the tip of a knife, it slipped off and punctured my palm about 1" from where the base of my ring finger begins. My ring finger moves but is limited by pain. Help!

Eltinwe has a life Swan - DYOH

You say in an answer that it went 3/8" in... that is definitely enough to do some interior damage, and you should visit a doctor. If you don't, and it turns out there's ligament damage, which sounds possible, it can heal wrong and never be right again. If you do and it turns out it's okay, the worst that happens is a little bit of extra money gets paid. Better safe than sorry!
