Do you clean the bottles and take off the lids before you put them in the recycle bins?

    No. I'd feel guilty if someone who did that for a living at the recycling center lost their job, because of folks like me.

    I do my part to help folks stay employed, whenever possible.

    • They are going to rewash them to their specifications anyway. I certainly don't see them firing people because some homeowners were considerate enough to rinse out their recyclables. +3

    • IF "they are going to rewash them to their specifications anyway," and rinsing them out would not PREVENT them from doing that, then my own efforts would be fruitless and futile (and a waste of time), so WHY do it?
