Help answer this question below.

I've heard with birth control it is not good to stay on it for too long at a time because it could cause problems. Is this true? If so, how long would that time frame be?

    If you mean the pill, unless you're a smoker, it's pretty much a win/win situation. You don't get pregnant, and you don't have a lot of other problems. Women who are smokers seem to have a little more cancer, but even under those circumstances, researchers say fewer women die of those cancers than would have died due to complications of pregnancy. Be sure to use it properly, follow your doctor's instructions completely, and keep him informed of any problems.
