If a mother is unfit to raise a child and has her child taken away from her, should the state be allowed to require long-term, but temporary, birth control? Please provide rationale.

    I think there should be certain circumstances where the state should be allowed to mandate birth control, and I don't think it should be temporary either. This example, rape conviction(not statutory), and I think that past a certain age things that might not have warranted it before should warrant it, after all at some point a person is who they is.
