Not sure how much Obama has to do with it himself as the drastic increase in the money supply started last year, but the games we are playing with our currency will not end well. We are playing with fire by increasing the monetary base as drastically as we have (see the chart attached to this answer). We DOUBLED the amount of money in circulation by April this year, we are on track to double it again by that time next year if not before, this cannot but cause inflation. Also the debt monetization game we're playing is a bad sign (Fed purchasing Treasuries), this happens when our creditors no longer are confident in our ability to pay back the debt or fear we will pay it back with currency so inflated as to be effectively worthless. The central bank's purchasing of bonds does nothing but kill confidence further as all they need do is print yet more money, making our creditors' fears a reality and encouraging them to dump the dollar denominated assets they already hold.
Additionally, a number of oil producing countries are now seriously considering unpegging from the dollar and going with the euro or perhaps even the Chinese yuan as the games we are playing with the dollar make them worry about its stability, if this happens I expect things to get very ugly very quickly, all of these will lead to at a minimum inflation similar to what we had in the '70s and at worst hyperinflation. It remains to be seen but I think it will be something to rival that which Hungary went through shortly after WW2. The only thing that is presently keeping this nightmare from happening is the dollar is still the world's reserve currency, should it be dropped in favor of another currency or a new global currency adopted as the UN would like then the consequences of this game will overtake us rapidly.
Even if the talking heads are correct and the economy is starting to recover, and the oil producers decide not to dump the dollar, with the amount we have increased the money supply by we will have some nasty inflation and it will hobble any recovery. Hopefully I am wrong about all this but I rather doubt it.

I completey agree. It will end this way.
A very sophisticated and realistic contribution.
I rather feat that it will come worse.
If China wants to have its money back I wonder how the USA want to react.
And now Mr.Obama wants to send up to 300.000 soldiers to Afghanistan and I wonder when he wants to pay the bill for that.
