Why is it that people are obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean? Is it Johnny Depp's fault?

    First off, It is DEFINITELY NOT Johnny Depps' fault!!! Plus I'm sure you have had a movie that you love very, very much haven't you? Pirates of the Caribbean is a AWSOME movie that people like. And alot of people like me have watched every single Johnny Depp movie so that's another reason people like Pirates of the Caribbean. Do you not like Johnny Depp or Pirates of the Caribbean?

    • No love Johnny, great man, actor, just... great. By saying "Was it Johnny Depp's fault?" I meant was Depp's roll in the movie the cause for its mass popularity. Personally I just don't think POTC is really anything special.

    • calm down, it was just a question! i didnt think potc was great the first time, but by the second time i enjoyed it more. now its one of my favourites. its one of those movies that you either love or hate, like napoleon dynamite.
