A tax increase for all Americans who buys things, including the very poor who has trouble affording necessities already. They'll have even less change, less change they could believe in, as well. Illinois tried to do this when The Great One was a Senator, but the public rallied against, and it never came through. Round two, and this time He knows where mistakes were made. The Great One should just pass a 100% income tax, and distribute back to us in the manner He thinks is best. It's what He wants, and dammit, He'll try his best to get it. Yes he can.

He can do it only if Congress permits him to do it. The Senate doesn't respond to or represent the voters. But the Representatives are beginning to run scared of their own constituents.
So maybe he can't.

Let's hope so. But let's also hope The Great One doesn't try to do it with some Royal Proclomation from His throne or have a Czar just enact some nonsense like this. Here's to Hope, and change He'll steal from your pockets if He could.

Talk about stealing from our pockets:
The Baucus bill and whatever other bill is up both have that provision that everyone will be required to buy government health insurance, and any who fail to do so will pay a fine larger than the cost of joining. How's that for stealing?
