When you give someone a badge and a gun they lose the right to be an asshole. Police must come out of the general population. But they should be the cream of our civilization, not the dregs.

In a perfect world, sure, maybe....however, last time I checked...THIS world was not perfect...some stinkers, slip through...remember, a Bully always knows they are acting in the wrong and they become very good at hiding their wrong attitude and subsequent behaviors from most people...they look for victims. Always sad.

Yes they do slip through. And when they show their true nature, they, like pedophile priests and teachers, etc. should be fired, not hidden behind the blue brotherhood.
