Is it really possible to make homemade absinthe?

    Yes it is!

    Homemade absinthe is usually higher in the active ingredent but the taste is also a lot worse too. homemade absinthe can be done by using 1-2 tbsp chopped wormwood high proof alcohol (anything above 110) and other herbs like anise, fennel, ect. some people like me, add some other active ingredents. Usually the herbs that are added are from 1-2 tsp. After the whole batch sits for 1 week (some longer) it is ready to filter and drink.

    Warning: absinthe is toxic in large doses and the high proof alcohol doesn't help either. This is for infomation only and i do not suggest making or drinking absinthe.

    ok now that's out of the way, absinthe has a very bitter taste so if you can't handle the bitterness of campari straight then i wouldn't recommend absinthe
