Question

What do you think about a husband who refuses to sit with his wife and her family at a memorial (funeral) service for her Grandfather?
He tells her that she married into his family, he didn't marry into hers. She was VERY hurt and embarrassed.

I can see a husband who might not have liked the man for how he was treated by him while courting/married to his wife...

...but memorial services are not for the dead, really, they are for the living. SUPPORT YOUR WIFE!

There is a one percent chance that this was an odd grieving effect (some people grieve in odd ways), but if that's not the case, she should divorce him. There's obviously no love there. He must be in it for something else. Control, perhaps.
