I think the system itself needs to be fixed.
I have worked in the Oil & Gas industry for 13 years and it is unfortunate that the American War on Drugs and all its Hypocrisy has been allowed to spill over to My Side of the border.
I do not in any way condone the use of alcohol or any other substance,legal or otherwise in the workplace.
The Problem with the current model for Drug Testing is that it only shows that I smoke pot, forget that it was two weeks ago while I was on My Time.
The current model does not indicate any standard of impairment such as Alcohol/BAC. in which most places allow you to work with up to 0.02%. !!! I know this for a fact, I nearly peed by britches ! And smoking a joint 2,3 even 4 weeks ago will still show traces enough for positive on a Drug Test.
Watch the movie "THE UNION". It has added perspective from both sides.
Take the war on drugs back to the USA.

You're reading Do you get tired of questions about beating drug testing? Like "I have to be tested tomorrow--what do I do"...(Maybe stop doing drugs) (Or realize you have a problem if you can't stop for a few days/weeks). It all seems to be about beating the system.
