Could a Dell Inspiron 1100 motherboard be put in a Compaq Armada?

    Oppss, I misread the question. No, because Dell used a different type of motherboard than Compaq.

    • This answer's incorrect. Dell uses proprietary parts, and I believe HP/Compaq does as well. Unless my experience is completely squirrely, it's impossible to take the mobo out of a Dell pc and make it fit in a Compaq PC's case.
