Can your car still drive when the emergency brake is up?

    If the hand brake needs adjustment you may be able to move the car with it applied. If the brakes are worn it will cause the e brake not to hold properly. Long term application will cause the brakes to overheat and the car will mostly feel like it is dragging something.If the brakes are good and the hand brake is adjusted it would be hard to drive with it applied.
