If you have it timed 14 degrees retarded then you probably have the distributor installed a tooth or two off. Typically an engine like that will like 12 degrees advanced but if it runs good I guess you can't complain!
I am looking where I can find the fuse panel diagram in a 1979 Chevy k-10 pickup. I am having problems getting the heather fan working.

I have a 79 chevy pickup with a 355 chevy small block. Recently for some reason won't start, not even a click. New battery, alternator ok, starter ok, hot wire and ground wire ok. fusible links ok. neutral park switch ok. Any suggestions?

I NEED TO KNOW IF ANY BODY CAN TELL ME HOW TO REMOVE KEY SWITCH FROM A 1974 CHEVY PICKUP COLUMN I HAVE PUSHED SHOVED PUT SCREWDRIVERS IN SLOTS NO LUCK HELP LOST WITH OUT MY TRUCK

I have a 1966 Chevrolet pickup with a three speed shifter on the column. I would like to change it to three speed on the floor. Do I have to change the entire transmission or can I just change the linkage setup?
