Who remembers how, when you shut off a TV, the picture would collapse into a bright dot in the center of the screen for brief moment, and then die?

    Yep! Back in the day...1965, my family had a Zenith color set..with the round screen. That's exactly what happened when the set was turned off.

    The set also took about a minute to warm up.
