first of all I would have a heart to heart talk with my best friend which I did when she got married. I happen to have lots of close friends but there is nothing like a best friend.

My best friend was very response to my feelings and took them into account. She told me that I wasn't loosing her friendship but gaining a family which included her husband. She included me more into her life like inviting me over for dinner with her husband and craving out 'us' time.

As time went on my best friend became more available to me and now we are as close as ever if not closer.
