Australian Cricket...why did Australia perform so poorly in the Ashes Series with the bat and play so well in the One Day Series?

    Cliche but they are different games. England have always been poor at ODI.
    I believe the australian strategy from ponting did not work in hte tests. But the Aussies will be back at test cricket, they are a young team and will progress rapidly.

    • Ponting has no strategy, he's not a captain's arsehole.
      The Poms had a let-down after the Tests, while the Aussies still had to salvage some pride.
