My wife and I take turns. I buy the breakfasts and she gets the steak dinners! (not really) Share and share alike! No hard feelings nor resentments that way.

Yep. I try that most of the time. I had one boyfriend who disliked that. He had the idea that he should be the bread-winner thing... and you'd think I'd just accept it and have him pay for everything. Lol. But nope. Felt guilty for some really dumb reason. So now I make people share with me, the exact way you do. I get breakfast, they get dinner or the movie, etc.
