If you were in a super market and saw someone putting items in their pocket, would you tell the manager?

    No, but good for them. Hopefully the manager/cooperation has security measures in place that are being paid for by the mark ups on grocery price. Otherwise, what gives? If you are paying for the security, and it's not working, then get rid of it. The 99% of us that aren't stealing has nothing to do with security.

    However, if I see a man wearing short lime green shorts and suspenders, walking back and fourth to his station wagon with bag after bag of charcoal from the front of a Publix supermarket, I might ask the manager if that man was stealing from their store... then I would engage in a 30min car chase with explosions and ninja fighting (by me of course)... With the thief knocked out cold, I would help the manager get all charcoal back into the store.
