Jump started Mitsubishi galant with 2 year old 84 month battery, died after driving 3 miles while running. Rejumped idled for 40 minutes traveled 5 miles turned off tried to crank no crank just dim dash lights? Any idea? bad switches? Bad bat?term cleand

I would definatly say bad battery. I would try that first since taking it to a service garage is so costly. They would find alot of thing to charge you for then tell you it was a bad battery.
