Now say you witnessed a murder and it was connected to the mob...
well they are gonna hide you in a unknown location with a different name and have you guarded 24/7...
reason why...well if ur gonna bring down the mob then that mob is gonna wanna wack ya....as to keep you from testifying against them...
...they kill ya, there is no case...
so...the department puts you in their protection.
