There are always going to be ways to commit terrible crimes. What we need to do is concentrating on preventing them. We also have to understand that without destroying our freedom, people will be able to do these things.

It seems that Cho Seung-hui had psychological issues that could have been red-flagged. He had odd behaviors such as signing his name with a question mark. He was in counseling. Unfortunately he was still able to get hold of a gun. Perhaps this calls for giving people psychological assessments prior to allowing them to own firearms.

    • Which psychological test now in general use would have revealed the perpetrator's mind? And the law says innocent until PROVEN guilty; we cannot lock up individuals on suspicion alone.
