Every embryo has a god given soul, if the pro-choicers choose not to nurture an embrace that fact, then they need to choose not to create one to begin with. It is no longer their uterus when an embryo life begins, it becomes the home of a new life. It is gods choice to give a life, and we are also told not to murder it.
It is also a choice to control your penis, if you don't want to father a child, then keep it in your pants!

Responsibility is an act of maturity. Exercise that choice first!!

    • Its not objective to assume that "every embryo has a god-given soul" Doesn't attempt to answer the question, just states an argument for one side of the debate.

    • Pro-lifers stop caring after the baby is born. I was an unwanted child and am pro-choice because I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. It would have been a kindness if my parents had aborted me.

    • You still have a choice, Darkling. It's called "suicide". If your life is so bad that it'd be better not to have lived, you still have the ability to end it. The fact that you have not chosen to do so puts the lie to your claim.

    • It is a matter of belief that an embryo has a god given soul -- not a fact.

    • Aren't you a sweetheart, Bob! I'm doing much better now, thanks for asking. Just because I decided to hang around and be a boil on the arse of society doesn't make my point of view any less valid.

    • I think my point is entirely valid, Darkling. You say it would have been better if your parents had killed you; meaning you think it would be better for you to be dead than alive. The choice is yours, and you have chosen to live.

    • What sense does it make to say it would have been better for someone to make one choice on your behalf when, being old enough and aware enough to make that choice yourself, you choose the opposite?

    • Do you think that in choosing to live, you are choosing badly? In any event, be grateful that you have a choice. The victims of the savage, legalized murder that we call "abortion" do not get any choice at all.

    • If my parents weren't forced to get married because of me, it's possible that a lot of lives wouldn't have been destroyed. It's not like the victims of savage child abuse get a choice either.

    • What about the 11-year-old girl who is brutally raped? What about the mother with a life threatening disease who can't carry to term? What about the woman who's birth control fails and she has too many mouths to feed already? That an embryo has a god given soul is only your moral belief. Not everyone shares it. Why should those people be beholden to a "fact" that cannot be proven? A woman's uterus is always hers even with an embryo residing there. She and it are actually one life until that fetus is born. That is a scientific fact.
