Now, this is just people LOOKING for something to be offended over.
"Right-hand man" refers to the old... I want to say Roman... practice of a leader's deputy standing on his lord's right side. It's not an attack on left handed people. Sheesh.
"Master Bedroom". Seriously? We women have nothing better to do than get upset over the term "master bedroom"? If we want to be effective wives, mothers, AND career women, we really don't have time to worry over such pittance.
"Black sheep" refers to just that. Black wool that is less valuable than white wool - because it can't be dyed. OMG! A vocational idiom!
Now, if you want to find "fly in the buttermilk" offensive, go right ahead. That's MEANT to be offensive.
What is eye bleach?

I totally agree with you, and it genuinely worries me that some people in power are able to get their panties in a twist (OH NOES!!!11!!1!) over such silly phrases. Great answer. +6
