What is it like being on a DMT trip?

  The weird thing is that happens to me occasionally when im sleeping causei hear a loud vibration and it keeps gettinglouder and it feels like im moving very fast through something and i almost see a light but i cant explain it and it feels like a pressure is on me or something really weird. Iv never tried dmt but i want to so bad now it sounds amazing

  I had to comment because I have often experienced exactly what you just described, and for years I've been trying to understand it. This is something that happens occassionally in my sleep.
  
  All of sudden, I hear some kind of pop, a cosmic pop, not so much a sound per se, as a sensation. Then, rushing wind, or vibration of some sort, like someone's put a vacuum cleaner down my ears and is sucking out the center of my brain. At this time I feel, just as you said, as if I'm flying down the top end of a roller coaster, going faster and faster, very intense, high pressure. I feel too as if I can almost see a light, and just like the movie Contact, that I'm rocketing thru some wormhole. It's like a bomb in the center of my mind, and I feel myself gripping on and half thinking--this ride isn't for the kids! But since learning about DMT, and reading your comments, rather than panic and try to wake up, if it ever happens again I'm gonna throw myself into it.
