Help answer this question below.

I live in TX, am unemployed & my soon-to-be ex(11yrs) is employed. I WAS the breadwinner & paid for her school & I'm letting her keep the house (we have a son). her IRA is 3x the amt of my 401k. will i have to pay maintenance if she is worth more than me?

    Not alimony, but you may still be required to pay child support. Why are you letting her keep the house? Let the child keep it and get joint physical custody of you.
