Is this a real question, or just an attempt to stir up controversy?
There isn't any secret about the fact that they required Jews to sew stars on their clothing long before they made their intentions known. Once they were all suitably marked, it made it really easy to single them out and move them into closed, fenced off ghettos. And once they were in the ghettos, they just came in and rounded them up when they wanted to.
do you know anything about the holocaust?if so tell me i want to learn
more about it.

I just watched a show about the Holocaust. Why were/are Jewish people so hated and reviled by so many people, not just Germans?

You're reading How did the Germans know who the Jews were during the holocaust? Was it a characteristic like eye color or something? Or did they just guess?

I think he was asking how could the Germans tell who was a Jew and who wasn't.

That is what I answered. The Germans required them to sew stars on their clothing, and they did it, innocent of what the German's planned.

No I think it was more like how did the Germans know who to put the stars on.

They didn't. They told the Jews to do it, and the Jews, suspecting nothing, did it.
