Help answer this question below.

I've had my goldfish for years now. All of a sudden it's on it's side it's gills look raised and seem to be seeping slime. Can I treat it with anything to make it better?

well, goldfish are very interesting animals. and most are very small. as far as im concerned, there is probably nothing u can do. im srry for your loss.
