This is for the fellas who shave their dome. How are you able to shave your head without leaving "track" marks? Why do shaved heads look so smooth?

Mach III Turbo, in the shower, no shaving gel/cream - only water. When shaving, I always start with downward strokes, then side to side, and then upward strokes to finish. I run my hand over my head and feel for any missed patches. Important - make sure the lube strip is good, or you will nic and bleed. And head cuts bleed for a freakin' long time...
