Points for honesty! There might be a legal problem but I'm sure it's nothing personal and that the POWERS THAT BE will let you know!
by Redhawk on April 16th, 2007
thanks! lol its rather ironic that you gave me points for honesty, but i lied when i signed up. oh well, at least i fessed up to it. thanks.
by doodlethenoodle on April 16th, 2007
Points from me too- some kids are much more mature than others and it won't be long before you're 13, I suppose.
by Engeltje on April 16th, 2007
thanks engeltje!
by doodlethenoodle on April 16th, 2007
Wow. You sure act older than 12. Are you certain you're not, like, 28 or something? I'm serious.
by Jodie44 on April 17th, 2007
The honesty points are because not only did you clear your lie, you OWNED IT, you took responsibility for it...you also were not trying to hurt anyone by lying. Better not to bother lying at all, of course, and you are starting to learn that lesson...that's worth something to me, because you could easily have not bothered to say a word, and kept the lie in place. Trust me...NOT lying keeps life SO MUCH NICER AND MORE SIMPLE!
by Redhawk on April 17th, 2007
i'm pretty sure Jodie. i'll check with my mom though to make sure there hasn't been some mistake. :) thanks.
by doodlethenoodle on April 17th, 2007
I know, LOL. I was teasing you. Just my way of communicating shock. Good shock, though. Once in a while, life hands us a pleasant surprise. Trust me, nobody wants you to leave. In this case, enforcing the minimum age thing would be defeating its purpose, if that makes sense. I don't know if all rules were made to be broken, but blind adherence to rules simply because they exist is stupid and short-sighted. Needless to say, that attitude has gotten me in trouble on a number of occasions. <grin>
by Jodie44 on April 17th, 2007
awww, thanks. i'm glad nobody wants me to leave. i care about you guys so much that i probably would leave if asked, and then where would my AB cravings be? oh, exile would be terrible. :)i know what you mean. thanks a lot Jodie.
by doodlethenoodle on April 17th, 2007
Awww if people wanted you to leave they would be pretty mean! None of us is 'the boss' on here, we are all equal :)
by Engeltje on April 17th, 2007
yeah. actually, i think Joel is the boss. :)
by doodlethenoodle on April 17th, 2007

We have a few very mature twelve year olds on here and the make a refreshing and welcome contribution to the Community. You are okay Doodle:)We like you.

by doodlethenoodle on March 15th, 2008
wow. I thought you were like, 25. Haha, yes, you are plenty mature to be on AB! Stay! Stay!
by Slipshod Wombat and Co. on March 18th, 2008
Haha thanks FreshApples. Nice to see you around. Oh, and just for clarification; I am thirteen now, but apparently they changed the sign up age to sixteen. Ah well. I'm staying. :)
by doodlethenoodle on March 18th, 2008
I thought it was 14. Which is how old you are, really, right? What's a few days or weeks? Yes, I thought so, LOL.
by Jodie44 on March 18th, 2008
Joel actually posted that it is still 13 for AB for some reason . The 14 is for some other areas of their business concerns apparently.
by Firebrand on March 18th, 2008
Thanks, Firebrand. Good to know:)
by Jodie44 on March 18th, 2008
It is not the years that truly age us, it is the milage ... if you have "been there & done that" enough, then you are "mature" enough for us here.
by Takei-Shihan on March 18th, 2008
I think some of our youngest people are some of our most interesting It is very hard to believe they are so young..
by Firebrand on March 18th, 2008
Yes and some of the older people are the most immature, sadly enough.
by Jodie44 on March 18th, 2008
The hardest gift to give is still wisdom ... some get it early, some get it eventually ... most die of old age without ever getting it ... I'm glad to see "this one" has it already.
by Takei-Shihan on March 18th, 2008
it is a good thing to see that they do! It is people like her than make AB and the world great!
by Slipshod Wombat and Co. on March 18th, 2008
Thanks guys. :) Ah, thanks for the heads up Firebrand. I was talking to AlanPro about a month ago and he provided me with a link to somewhere on AB where it said that the minimum age was made sixteen, I wish I remembered where the link was. But I don't think it really matters anyway. Takei-Shihan: I definitely agree with you. I get it all the time, people think that I am older than I really am, they say I act 'older' than I am. but I don't think age really has a direct relation to maturity, it is more dictated by life experiences, as you say.
by doodlethenoodle on March 18th, 2008
Doodle that was the question Joel was addressing at the time and he said it is still the same for AB 13 is the legal age.
by Firebrand on March 18th, 2008
Ah okay. Thanks for the information Firebrand.
by doodlethenoodle on March 18th, 2008
Welcome Doodle :)
by Firebrand on March 18th, 2008
