Peter is somewhere between 30 and 40 years old. The problem with age continuity in the comics is that different writers have different spins on our old favorites, hence why Spider-man's popularity declined so much, particularly during the Clone story arc, and why it is suddenly rising again with the work of J. Michael Straczynski. Straczynski's Peter is somewhere between 30 and 40, close to his mid 30's.

However if you go by the Spectacular Spider-man comics, you really can't tell for sure, since Ramos butchers the comic with his horrific cartoonish art, making Peter look no more than 16 or 17 years old! But in all aspects of continutiy, Amazing Spider-man being the longest running, gauge his age from that one!
