Would you trade in your SUV under the 'cash for clunkers' scheme? SUVs are special purpose vehicles, don't you think?

    I have a 1995 Chevy Tahoe. It runs great, in good but not great condition cosmetically, and I own it. I would never trade it in to have to make car payments and higher insurance on a new car. When the Tahoe blows up eventually, I will consider the new car, but not until I am pushing mine into the dealership.
