    The human body is a wonderfull design, and every part of it has a function.

    Hair is a health indicator. And unlike men, women need years of sustained health to raise offspring (not 5 minutes or even less LOL).
    During evolution (no hospitals or barbershops) the only reason for short or bald were serious health issues (it doesn't fall out when sneezing...)
    Chances of reproducing were very slim for the ill during those harsh conditions, hence only long haired women and their lovers survived the gene pool.
    As a result, women even evolved growing 30% longer hair for the sole reason to allure men. So a womens hairlength has more in common with her cup size or a peacocks feathers than with mens hair.
    Making most men are bound to fall for it. Just check the polls, miss elections and such.

    Long isn't a must, but it speeds up the bonding process. It completes the other feminine features, adressing a primal drive which can turn men into jelo, stutter, walk into furniture and open up to you. Sounds familiar?
    If all goes well, everthing about you will then be embossed in their hearts :-)
    (As a bonus, hair is great for trapping your addictive feromones. Stuff women are immune to, but men aren't.)
    Nature is that delicate.

    • there's no need to make up some theory to justify why you like long hair that none of us could possibly know for sure, to make all the short haired women feel crappy. Just say you happen to like long hair. Even though I have long hair myself, So everything you wrote is actually good news to me, for some reason I still don't like it when some guy pats me on the head as a reward for attaining his validation. Especially when he incorporates some gender roles from cavemen. Not only is it ridiculously unfeminist but it makes all humans look stupid and fragile. ok, I'm done now..
