Depends on what kind a' turtle. I would say a very, very large place, as similar in climate t' th' one it came out of, as possible. An' a dozen or more turtle friends t' grow up with. My own "pet" turtle is a Chihuahuan desert tortoise that visits my garden some times. I favor pets that are free t' come an go as they please. Hope he never invites any friends in, though - he smashes down an' wrecks a lot a' my greens as it is. A "herd" would be hard t' plant enough for.
