how do they explain when I have a dream but I only dozed off for a few minutes?
by davoomac on July 14th, 2006
Dreams could happen after a few minutes if you haven't gotten enough sleep, so you go into REM sleep quicker. Also dreams can happen in non-REM sleep too, although I think most of the dreams we remember happen in REM sleep.

Another interesting method of studying dreams takes advantage of the fact that the eyes can move in REM sleep, so lucid dreamers can send signals by moving their eyes in a certain pattern. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Laberge
