Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a 19 inch Misakai TV, 1 year old, and the sound just quit. It is as if the mute is on, but it is not. How can I fix this?

The first, and easiest answer - is to call the manufacturer. I don't know if there is a Man. warranty for the TV but under or around a year and it seems like you should be able to return it or have it serviced for near free. You shouldn't be too worried (or very worried) because there are plenty of people here on Answerbag who have Misakai TV issues...

The only actual answer I can think of is a wiring short or some other voltage issue.

If you have a multimeter and you are electronically inclined you can remove the back of the TV and see where the stereo speakers connect to the speaker wire, and where the wire leads into from the speakers. If they are disconnected somewhere you can go from there cause you found the problem. Otherwise you can find a way to volt-test the speaker wires. I'm not an electrician but with auto-electrics volt testing is one of the ways to find out if you have a current-issue.

Sorry if I didn't help but mainly, check into the warranty, and get in touch with Misakai
