Help answer this question below.

I recently had someone look at my laptop(sd issues) and I got it back and now my audio doesnt work,there is no sound and my music will not play! Anyone know what to do?

try reinstalliing or updating/rolling back the driver
It would help to know ur OS

have a dv6000us, can see dvd/cd rom and burn cd yet not burn dvd nor see in my computer, even installed new external dvdrom same results

Compaq Presario Laptop overheated and shut off. Now fan comes on then stops and light flashes. Laptop stays off.
