Might want to check inside the case and see if you need to clean out any dust on the internal components.
Sometimes you may have to apply fresh thermal compound to the processor and reconnect the heat sink. If the PC overheats, it can cause random rebooting or shutdowns.

My laptop's health monitor says that the fan speed is 66%. Is that too high, and if so, what should I do?

I plugged my computer into a station that was running 230v power. It will no longer turn on of course. I would like to know what will need to be replaced to repair it. I was thinking it would be the whole power supply, am I correct?

When I use My Laptop (IBM T40) it goes all FRIZZ! So I have to turn it off by pressing the power button!Why My Laptop goes Frizz?

You're reading Hi, I have a Windows XP and somtimes it shuts down with no warning at all. It usally happens when I am on sites that have other people online like runescape or adventure quest. Does anyone know why this is happening?
