No, Bev is not right, do some more digging and actually read the question. I did NOT ask what the book was based on. I asked how that piece of blubber became named Moby_Dick.

Her information is correct but she didn't answer the question. This is the kind of thing kids get rated down for doing in exams. The question wasn't "Write down everything you know about 'Moby Dick'"!

This isn't an exam, and Answerbag should not be used to do your homework (I'm not accusing Scubabob of that).
Ratings in Answerbag are for "helpfulness". Nothing is mentioned about being apropos to the question, and extra information can often be useful.
I don't think a DR was appropriate in this case, but I don't expect anyone to care what I think.

This question is ancient. LF has a point though DB. Ans101 and Bev are one and the same people. They're not active on AB anymore after some ruckus they'd stirred up. That's more or less why LF popped in with her comment DB.
