I'm 65. Is it normal to want to divorce my wife?

As with anything, it depends on your circumstances.

If you no longer love you wife, then yes, you should divorce her.

However, if you're only thinking about divorcing her for trite reasons, then no you should remain married because marriage is NEVER easy.
