Question

Help answer this question below.

I plugged my computer into a station that was running 230v power. It will no longer turn on of course. I would like to know what will need to be replaced to repair it. I was thinking it would be the whole power supply, am I correct?

Correct. The power supply will need to be replaced at the very least. If the power supply didn't pop the fuse in time, you might also need to replace the system board and possible the CPU and memory. However, start with the power supply and go from there. You can get auto-adjusting power supplies (i.e. they can automatically switch between 220V and 110V without a switch) to prevent this from happening again.
