If plea bargaining resolves most cases then when does "beyond a reasonable doubt" ever get a voice/chance/test? How is that reasonable?

You're reading In the middle of a nasty divorce with a judge who is bias against women. My ex makes 100K. I am still waiting for our assets to be divided and while working two jobs I am at poverty level. My kids, 13 and 17, live with me. Do I have any recourse?
