I would make at least one paymnet. this will start the foreclosure proceedings all over again and give you extra time.
The bank had rather work with you, than foreclose. its money out of their pocket.
You will need to reapply, if you expect the bank to help you with Stimilus Package money.
It may already be too late, but give it a shot.

You're reading I live in FL. I have not paid my mortgage for 5 months b/c I applied for loan modification and finally got a reply from the bank 4 months later that they need additional info. How much time do I have until the bank evicts me from home after foreclosure?
