Help answer this question below.

My neice, a victim of identy theft, was charged with passing a false check. The police have the check and bank photo, which resemble my neice. How can I get them to do fingerprint test on the check to prove it wasn't my neice who tried to cash the check?

Get a criminal lawyer - NOW. S/he will have more weight to push around and should this actually reach the DA's office a lawyer can 'jaw bone' them to doing more investigation, most often even before it goes to pretrial (court).
