Not copper. But I had the the catalytic converter on my 4 X 4 almost stolen. I think there is some metal that was worth about $55. Police have cracked down on this and buyers are being prosecuted. I live in Northern California.
I have been accused of stealing, but have not been shown any footage, does this mean there isn't any?
