You're reading In the bible it says Goliath is 9'9'' tall. BUT on the discovery channel scientist said they found ''older'' (than the bible) scriptures of the Dead Sea Scrolls that said goliath was ONLY 6'9'' tall....which one should i believe?

The evidence is that many ancients were masters of measurement, engineering and craftsmanship. Still, the point is that by faith, little David defeated a giant.

You raise the question, do you believe that their measurements were so poor that they couldn't tell 6' from 9'? Were they off by 50% on such a small measurement? Off by some cm or inches, maybe. But by 3ft? Tell me if that sounds reasonable, please.

For something that was recorded so long ago and has been translated many times and perhaps even changed...yes.

I see. Tell us, please, what do you know about Bible translation and preservation?
How does the abundance of Bible translations affect the accuracy of the record?
Why do you think that ancient man was unable to to distinguish 6 ft from 9 ft? How much science does that require?
I ask these questions with respect and hope for your solid answers. Thanks
